Create Memories to Last a Lifetime with Minted Christmas Cards

unofficial minted logo

The Holiday Season is a special time for The Zoo. A chance to enjoy the company of Family and exchange stories of the past year. Unfortunately, all of us can’t get together so I’ve started a new tradition of “sharing the year in pictures”.

Last years Seasons Greetings were so warmly received that when I found the new Minted Christmas Cards, I knew that 2013 was going to be a very special year indeed.

Minted is the world’s premiere marketplace for crowd-sourced independent design and art. Artists and aspiring designers from around the world have their work featured on Minted. We believe in providing the best service to our customers and uphold that ideal by using only the finest materials and products. Minted is dedicated to the celebration of life’s most important events – whether birthdays, weddings, or reunions – we’re there every step of your life’s journey.

The first thing that drew me to Minted’s website was the creative and unique designs. While I love to take pictures (I mean, even The Kids know that), I’m not a graphic designer, nor do I have time to be. I know what I like and what I don’t like and I’ve found it tough to find the customizability without having to pay a lot.

Problem solved at Minted.com!

Their vast product selection includes cards, journals, prints, signs, calendars, wrapping paper and the list goes on. With hundreds of designs to choose from, you’re sure to find something you love. And if you don’t see exactly what you like, customize it!

A few of the different colour and style options of just one card.

There were hundreds of ways to capture our memories! Just when I thought that I had narrowed it down to three maybe four cards, I found another one that just had to go in the shortlist. Some came with the ability to sculpt their edges, change the colour palette and even the template text. Many had added features like interior and back text and liners and labels. While some of the features cost money, the ability to customize them does not.

I created this in minutes!

I liked that the pictures were easy to upload and stayed in my account to use on multiple products. Unfortunately, I lost my work a few times when trying to modify text fields. Interestingly, the site noticed that I had left unexpectedly and sent me a survey (to which I provided my feedback). My workaround was to save my work each time I made changes. Otherwise, with just a few clicks of a button and minimal computer knowledge, I was able to create memories that we will have for a lifetime.

Minted ships to over 200 countries (including Canada) and has competitive product pricing. Customized flat cards start at $1.63 and this adorable door sign (which will soon be hanging on The Kids bedroom door) costs $20.

Overall, I was very pleased with the variety, customizability and pricing of Minted products and look forward to placing our order soon. And now for the fun part. Minted has graciously offered to giveaway a $50GC to one of you!

I would do the ‘Stages’ photo art print. Although, I must say your images above are totally stunning. If we did Xmas cards then these would be ideal!
