FlipSize Canada Offers Quality and Selection of Gently Used Kids Clothes

FlipSize Canada LogoIf I had a dollar for every time that I said “The Kids are growing so quickly”, I’d be rich. I’ve found myself saying it more and more lately. So much so, that our friends in Mexico hardly recognized The Kids they’d changed so much. The only problem with all this growth is that they grow out of clothes almost before they even wear them. And, buying clothes for two kids is expensive.

In case you didn’t know, almost all The Kids clothes are used. Either gifted from friends or picked up here and there. My main focus when picking out clothes for them is that they don’t look like they’re used. And really, they don’t have to. The problem I’ve been having is that it’s difficult to find quality used clothes in their size. And in one single place? Forget about it. I’d resigned myself to the fact that I would need to buy them new clothes when I was (reintroduced) to FlipSize Canada.

Buy. Sell. Swap.

Imagine getting to dress your kids in name brands such as Old Navy, Oshkosh, Gymboree, Gap, Nautica, Dockers, Calvin Klein for a fraction of the price. Having hundreds of items for boys and girls ranging in size from 12M to size 12 to choose from and delivered right to your door. Fortunately for The Zoo, we know what this feels like.

Huge Selection of Brands Names and 100% Quality Guarantee.

Let me start out by saying that the products I received were better than what I expected. The George shirt was obviously never worn or washed, 2 of the 3 pants were adjustable and all of the clothes fibers were mainly made of Cotton. This last point is especially important because I don’t like synthetic fibers on my skin so I don’t purchase them for The Kids either (except for the odd fleece).

Flipsize Canada Products Received
Left to Right: Gymboree Vest, Lullahbette Sweatshirt, NEW George Long Sleeved Shirt, Children’s Place Long Sleeved Shirt, Red Sweatshirt, Joe Fresh Lined and Adjustable Pants, Lee Adjustable Jeans, Oshkosh Jeans.

Given that our personal challenge was to stick to a budget of $30, we think that our dollars stretched really far. Out of interest, I priced out the Oshkosh jeans and they alone regularly sell for $38 plus tax! I can’t believe that parents pay that for one pair of pants that might be worn as many times but apparently they do.

When all was said and done and flat rate shipping fees were factored in, each item only cost $5 all in! A long way from $38 plus.

Here are The Kids wearing a few of the items and they fit according to their stated sizes. FlipSize Canada’s 100% Guarantee clearly worked for us.

There’s a gorgeous brown Gymboree cardigan sweater in size 9 that is new with tags for only $7.50 that I’d love to get for my daughter.
