On the home front…
I wasn’t going to post today because it’s Canada Day and I’m Canadian and Canadians that have paying jobs get the day off work but since I don’t have a paying job, I don’t get the day off work so here I am. My loss is your gain. Okay, maybe not. Sorry. Happy Canada Day anyways.
After four weeks in Europe (and at Wimbledon!), Nanna returns home tomorrow. Which is great news because we start our Summer vacation on Saturday and we’ll be staying at her house. With the entire Zoo. Might just make her wish that she was back in Europe.
After a few weeks of preparations, The Kids started their private swimming lessons today. It was a success. Not from the perspective of “they’ll be swimming champs after a week” but more because they both actually went in the water and tried to float as opposed to sink like rocks. Besides, it’s good for them to be bossed around by someone other than Ed and I.
The Kids had their first make that second dentist appointment this week. Don’t worry, I blogged about it and will be posting it this week. Because I knew that you were worried.
We celebrated Canada Day on Saturday and it was a huge success. Mainly because we actually showed up on the right day this year. You’d be surprised. Or not.
On the blog front…
1. We leave on Saturday for an (almost) 8-week roadtrip. Don’t worry, it will be life as usual as we’ll be enlightening you with all of The Zoo’s antics.
2. Today is the last day to enter our $100 Coupon WIN over $100 in coupons and an FPC from Wholly Guacamole.
3. If you drink Coffee, Tea, Bake or Like Sweets then you’ll want to Enter to WIN a $20GC gift card From Buy Coffee Canada. Don’t blame me when you get addicted to their Torani Syrup.
4. Remember how I took the Stayfree Challenge and poured blue liquid all over pads and then shared the results with you!? Stayfree was so impressed about your interest that they wanted to offer you the chance to WIN a $55 Prize Pack. Truth be told, it might have been because they thought you had the ugliest granny panties ever but I’ll never tell. Check out the link if you want to know what I’m talking about.
