On the personal front…
While Summer isn’t officially over, it might as well be. Kids are back in school and even though today was 27 degrees in the shade, it could all change tomorrow.
And what a summer it was. I barely felt like our feet touched the ground and we cancelled our trip to Newfoundland and Destiny USA. We spent one week in Toronto, two weeks at The Farm, Six days in Algonquin Park and Uncle Andrew left today after a week with us.
I have to admit, I’m looking forward to doing nothing. For three seconds. I have two four-year olds you know.
On the blog front…
1. We posted a new giveaway for not one but TWO $100 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift Cards. Even if you never get sick, go anywhere or eat ice cream (although we all know that you do), you can still find something you need there. They have everything!
2. Speaking of ice cream, if you haven’t tried Rick Mercer Blueberry Pie Ice Cream yet then you really should. 100% of the proceeds goes to “Spread the Net” and you’ll be support a great Canadian company. Did I mention that Chapman’s is giving away a $115 Prize Pack?
3. We are putting the finishing touches on our giveaway for Dare Candy. Speaking of Shoppers Drug Mart (see #1 for details), they sell their candies there and trust me, you’re going to love them!
4. We posted the winners of the Almond Fresh and Canada’s Wonderland Tickets. Was it you?
5. As for the Kids backpack giveaway from Baby Joy that we told you about, they drew the name and it sure looks familiar. I love it when one of my followers wins. Congratulations!
