Purex plus Oxi Leaves Clothes Smelling Fresh

purex plus oxi laundry detergent

I don’t know about you but when The Kids clothes get dirty I give them away. Seriously.

Not because we’re rich but because I can’t seem to remove the stains from their clothes.

I’ve tried everything. Well almost everything, I’ve never tried Purex plus Oxi. Until now.

As luck would have it, I was out of liquid laundry detergent and they had sent me a jug. The liquid part matters because we’re on a septic system and the powdered can “clog things up”. The only problem, I didn’t have any soiled clothes. If everyone had my problems.

Considering The Kids are running low on non-stained shirts that actually fit, I wasn’t about to purposely stain their clothes. So, I did the next best thing, I washed what was in the laundry hamper. I assure you, what the clothes lacked in stains, they made up for in stench. Did I just write that?

I followed the dosage instructions on the back of the jug and just half a capful made things get all sudsy! I use an exclamation mark because that’s not normally the case. Usually, I have to use my trusty paint stir stick to agitate things along. When the tub was good and full, I did what I always do and that is fill it to the gills with clothes.

Purex plus Oxi’s stain fighting enzyme formula works against different types of stains, so you can rest assured that your clothes will come out of the wash looking and smelling fresh.

Seeing as technology does not yet enable me to let you smell how clean my laundry is, I thought that I’d do the next best thing and have The Kids give it the “Smell Test”.

There you have it. If you won’t take my word for it, surely you’ll take the word of two three-year olds.

I would like to try the Purex 2x Ultra Free and Clear. I have sensitive skin and this was made for that problem.

I actually already use purex, and I like the free & clear products that are unscented as I am allergic to all scents/fragrances.

I’ve been using Purex almost exclusively for 5 and a half years! I have tried a lot of their products but have not yet tried Purex Plus Oxi and I also plan to try Purex 2x Ultra Free and Clear.

Love PUREX 😀 – it’s my absolute favorite laundry soap, (especially the PUREX with OXI & ZOUT) Tried them all so I suppose I’d like to try the CRYSTALS as it’s the only PUREX product that my clothing hasn’t come in contact with 😉
