I Spy Clothing Offers Top Name Brands in Kids Gently Used Clothing #Canadian

Kids are hard on their clothing. I’ve found that this year is the worst so far. After a few uses, the item has stains, is torn and/or they’ve grown out of it. Yes, that quickly. Given these factors and the price of new clothing, I can’t justify spending as much as a new pair of Men’s dress shoes on a summer outfit. Yes, people do spend that much.

Ninety percent of The Kids clothes are used. You wouldn’t know it. My take is that you don’t have to look like you’re wearing used clothing. I’ve found this to be very challenging because we live in rural Ontario and are limited by the variety of clothing; new and used. In turn, I’ve started looking online to get what I need and in one of my searches I found I Spy Clothing.

Fortunately, we can choose not to feed this problem by buying excessive amounts of cheaply-made, mass-produced clothing for our kids. Instead, we can limit how we impact the planet by simply extending the average life of clothing by wearing them for longer.

My favourite purchase was #10, The Children’s Place jacket. It fit Artemis perfectly and I consider it to be a speciality item that is difficult to find in my small town. Artemis loved #3 and #9 because of the butterflies and flowers. Nine out of the 10 items were in the exact condition or better as stated on the website.

The only one I wasn’t pleased with was #1, the long sleeved shirt from Joe Fresh. Since it was so cute, I broke my one rule in purchasing this top… it has white sleeves. Why people make them in the first place, I don’t know but they’re usually not clean enough for me. Even when they’re new. There was also a slight unravelling on the embroidery. You probably won’t even notice but like I said, I’m really picky. No matter because The Kids can’t have enough clean and dry tops and Artemis can still wear it playing outside and to bed.
