We turned the heat off yesterday. Which is good because we’re saving money on oil but not good at the same time because they just came and filled up the tank this week. This is the earliest, in the past six years that we’ve turned off the furnace. Given the weather we’ve had, I’m not holding my breath that we won’t have to turn it back on.

We’ve been heading to playgroup every Tuesday for the past few weeks and then stopping off at House of Lazarus on the way home. They’re open late on Tuesdays and it gives me a chance to get caught up with some friends.

Mother’s Day brought lovely weather and a day of pancake breakfast, bike rides and a day together as a Family. It should be Mother’s Day every day if you ask me. I hope that the day was everything you hoped it would be.
