On the home front…

It was Nanna’s birthday this week but we could only give her a virtual shout out (Happy Birthday Nanna!) because she’s currently sailing the seas of Norway and will end the week on the greens of Wimbledon.

As a family, we went to our local outdoor (heated!) pool and went swimming together. We plan on going this week too. All in preparation for The Kids lessons the week of June 30. It’s time that they learned how to swim and/or spent more time in the water.

After a long time apart, we had lunch with Christina and Ethan and dinner with Marcella. Family is so important to us and The Kids love hanging out with their sisters.

Our garden of; onions, tomatoes, broccoli, beans, peas and beets is growing nicely. I miss the lettuce and spinach but we won’t be around much so I didn’t want to come back to weeds. I’ll have to bore you with take a picture.

This week will have us at the pool again and a first dentist appointment for The Kids. Well, technically the second because we’re still waiting for the first one.

And what could be better timing than having all this happen less than two weeks before we leave on an 8-week roadtrip. The story of our lives.
