Over the years, I’ve discussed ways in which we’re trying to save for The Kids future. One of those ways is by living a financially savvy lifestyle now. In doing so, and with the help of grandparents, we’ve been able to contribute each year to their Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). We feel fortunate to be able to help them financially during their post-secondary years so that they can focus on learning instead of worrying about growing debt and money.
As a Heritage Education Funds Ambassador, you’ve heard me talk about how you can save for your childs’ future with RESP and in future posts I’m going to be breaking down the mechanics of it even further.
However, perhaps you have some questions of your own about RESPs, Grants, Withdrawals and so on?
If so, you have the perfect opportunity to ask them at the Heritage Education Funds #HeritageB2S Twitter Party this Wednesday, August 19 at 9pm. I hope that you will join me in talking all things RESP and Saving for our Kids Future.
If this is your first Twitter Party and/or you have some questions, please feel free to ask me any questions. If you’re looking for an app to use during the party, consider creating a FREE account on TweetDeck or HootSuite.
Below are the party details and don’t forget that in order to WIN, you must RSVP below.

Wow! What a nice list of prizes! I can’t wait to learn more about RESPs.
Dear Heidi,
My Kids have had an RESP since they were first born (5 years ago) and I’m still learning things all the time.
Looking forward to chatting with you.
Besos Sarah.

I’m going to try to make it and see how it goes, hopefully better than the other times. I’m going to try using twubs this this time if I can – hope it works 🙂
Dear Elizabeth,
It would be great to see you there!
Have you ever used “TweetDeck”? That’s what I use now but I’ve also used “HootSuite”.

I’ve never used anything apart from my normal twitter account, perhaps why it never worked well eh?
So is TweetDeck free and easy to use for a newbie?
Dear Elizabeth,
No wonder you’ve been having problems. Using any app for the first time is a bit tedious but I had no issues with TweetDeck and it does everything I need it to.
Create an account (https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/) and play around with it. I usually display the following columns; the hashtag, a twitter group with all the hosts and sponsors, and mentions (like notifications, so that I can engage with people that are engaging with me). Let me know if you have any questions.
Besos Sarah.
