Celebrate $5 Indy Pizza this August 10 at @BostonPizza

Boston Pizza-Indy Pizza

Imagine for a minute that your Sunday was similar to ours. You start out on your annual one month Summer vacation only to be bombarded by a severe thunderstorm like you’ve never seen before. You know, the ones where it’s too dangerous to drive but too dangerous to stop. When you finally make it safely to your destination, just in time for dinner you find that the power has been out for three hours (and will be for another nine). Naturally, you start jumping up and down and high-fiving your family, right!? Well, you do if you know what I know and that’s that…

The Summer Menu at Boston Pizza is Here!

In addition to their regular tasty offerings, from now until August 31, Boston Pizza is offering a Summer Menu including; tacos, roasted beet and peach salad, peach and goat cheese flatbread, appetizer platter, Boston Crème Pie, Root Beer Float and of course their beer-ita! Note that menu items are only available in-store except for the Pizzatizers and Roasted Beet and Peach salad that are available for takeout/delivery via online ordering.

Boston Pizza-Summer Menu-Tacos

Given that we spend four months of the year living in Mexico, we were excited to try the try their three grilled soft tacos. Filled with lettuce, red onions, cilantro, cheddar and tomatoes with a hint of lime, topped with crunchy tortilla strips, our creamy sweet chili sauce and your choice of breaded jalapeno shrimp, chicken breast or crispy haddock.

Boston Pizza-Summer Menu-Salad

If you’re looking for something meatless or a little lighter, you can try their Roasted Beet and Peach Salad arugula and Tuscan lettuce blend tossed in balsamic dressing, with roasted red beets, roasted peaches, candied pecans, roasted red peppers and goat cheese. Finished with pesto and a balsamic glaze. Beets are my favourite vegetable so they had a fan in me.

Boston Pizza-Summer Menu-Beeritas

And of course they have their Beerita. But personally, I wish that it was August 10 every day because…

August 10 is $5 Indy Pizza Day!

In celebration of Boston Pizza’s birthday, on August 10, you can enjoy any individual pizza on the menu for only $5! One of my personal favourites is the Tuscan but I’ve also tried the BBQ Chicken and Zorba the Greek. At that price, you can afford to buy a few and have the best of both worlds. Whether the power is out or not on Monday, my extended family and I will be at Boston Pizza in Collingwood for a Pizza-extravaganza!

And the best part is that Boston Pizza wants you to have your pizza and eat it to because they’re giving away a $50 Gift Card to one of my Canadian readers. Enter below and Good Luck!

Last year hubby and I shared the Hawaain and the BBQ Chicken and then we ordered the Thai one. This time around I cam going to go out of my comfort zone and try some “different ones”

August 10 is my anniversary (I think) - great idea for family pizza night to celebrate what we’ve built thus far!

I like the deluxe pizza best. I’ve tried some of the others and they are all good too. Haven’t had a pizza there I didn’t like.

I would likely order a Great White North or Meateor individual pizza. My husband and boys are more adventurous and would have a tough time choosing!

I had no idea that Boston Pizza had such a great Gluten Free menu. I would love to order a ham and mushroom pizza with a gluten free crust. As an added bonus I can bring my granddaughter who also cannot eat gluten.

An RESP is a savings plan used by parents to help them save for their children’s post-secondary education. With the rising costs associated with sending a child to college or university, an RESP can really help.

Don’t laugh at me, but I will always love my pepperoni pizza. I know what I’m getting, I will never be disappointed. The meateor and the butter chicken pizza sound delish so they could potentially sway my decision, depending on my mood.

I know it’s a little boring, but I’d choose the Pepperoni Pizza! I like plain foods, but LOVE Boston Pizza!!! I actually haven’t had it in years, because there isn’t a location close to me!!!
