Summer’s Not Over Yet at Shoppers Drug Mart

Shoppers Drug Mart Store

If you live in Canada, then you’re familiar with Shoppers Drug Mart. Unless of course you live in a van down by the river. But even then, you still need to brush your teeth, wash your dishes and use deodorant. One would hope.

We just got back from six days in the wilds of Algonquin Park (well, not exactly but it sounds way better), and one of the last things on my To Do list was make a pit stop at Shoppers Drug Mart. I had a few things that I needed and I knew that I’d forget a few others. If I had a nickel for every time I was right.

Products for all rooms in the house

Milk, butter, sunscreen, band-aids, toothpaste, toilet paper, dish soap, make-up and even camping chairs, Shoppers Drug Mart has items you need for every room in your house. I love that they offer these every day items all year round and many of them in their generic “Life” brand which saves me money. Also, given all the companies that are moving south of the border, Shoppers Drug Mart is one that is 100% Canadian. That matters to me.

Shoppers Drug Mart Summer Supplies

This summer, Shoppers added a “Only at Shoppers” section to their website and it includes important and educational articles covering organization, health, rejuvenation, and beauty. I’ve enjoyed answering their quizzes and reading the organization posts such as the summer camp checklist (note to self, next year read this before leaving for camp).

Not only does Shoppers Drug Mart want to keep you and your Family safe and healthy, but, they want to help you with those purchases. That’s why they’re giving away not one but TWO gift cards for $100. Two of you will be winners!

I liked the “From Messy to Marvelous: how to implement a chore chart” article. I especially liked the part where the kids were put to the task of helping with yard clean up and incentivize the clean up by awarding them one more frozen yoghurt topping for every bag filled with yard waste; that’s pretty smart.
