On the family front…

Max is currently upstairs with a slight fever. Everything that was funny five minutes ago isn’t so funny anymore. He’ll be fine but as a parent that has lost a child, it’s hard not to worry.

We’ve just started week two of six weeks on the road. If you want to know more about where we were and can’t wait for the reviews and giveaways, check out this post on Packing for an Extended Road trip. Otherwise, sit back and relax because you’re on vacation.

Tomorrow I’ll be going on my annual “Ladies Night Out” with my Aunt Sally and Liz* in celebration of her birthday which falls on December 15. Yes, you read that correctly, December 15. I should blog about all the experiences that aren’t blogging opportunities. The list would be shorter.

The Kids get up each morning to feed and collect the eggs from Poppa’s chickens. There’s something about farm fresh eggs that just makes them taste better.

The dogs love having the freedom of 100+ acres. I just wish that they’d use it so that I would stop tripping on them as they’re lying at my feet.

*Note that Liz’s name may or may not actually be Liz.
